CREW files IRS complaint against Minnesota's Living Word Christian Center
Today, CREW filed a complaint with the IRS against the Living Word Christian Center. Seems the Church, which is a 501(c)(3) organization under the IRS code and, therefore, prohibited from engaging in electioneering, did engage in electioneering this past weekend.
According to reports and video from the event, Congressional candidate Michele Bachmann appeared at the church in campaign mode declaring "God called me to run for Congress." She received the endorsement of the pastor, Mac Hammond.
CREW's Melanie Sloan challenged the IRS to follow through on its commitment to crack down on churches that violate their tax-exempt status:
The IRS has pledged to investigate non-profits that violate the law. So far the IRS has targeted only progressive organizations such as the All Saints Church in Pasadena, California, the NAACP and Texans for Public Justice.
This complaint and the clear evidence supporting it should spur the IRS to investigate the Living Word Christian Center and all 501(c)(3) charities that abuse their status, regardless of ideology.
Don't hold your breath waiting for the IRS to act.
Soros bigots
I think more and more people know that you are funded by Soros, a man who wants to destroy our country, a man who advocates NAMBLA. Keep it up..the IRS may be at your door wondering why your considered non-partisan !!
WHO protects sexual predators?
Better look in the mirror - the Republicans have been protecting and covering up for sexual predators in their party for years now. Particularly sexual predators who go after children and young adults. Even within Congress: Foley, Kolbe, etc.
Seriously - Google it sometime. "Republican, moral values (or family values), hypocricy". You'll find lots of bs rumors, but you'll also find lots of lists with attributions to actual news reports and court documents. Such as:

http://liberaltopia.org/?p=1296
http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?AuthorID=22136&id=19685 (also covers hypocricy in claims of patriotism)
I find it strange that the only people I ever hear make mention of NAMBLA (and I'll assume you don't mean the National Association of Marlon Brando Look Alikes) are Republicans and neo-conservatives. And not just mention it - they obsess over it. Can't stop talking about it, like it holds some sick fascination for them.
I'll ask, just for the laughs - where's your evidence? Where's your evidence that Soros "advocates" NAMBLA?
Is it something real, or just the standard, half-assed "guilt by association" claim? You know the one - so and so is a member of the ACLU and the ACLU possibly once represented NAMBLA in some case!
Hate to tell ya, but the ACLU supports darn near ANYONE with a civil liberties case. Even conservatives.
Michelle Bachmann/Living Word Christian Center
I think it is totally outrageous that you are complaining about the Living Word Pastor and his comments about Michelle Bachmann, that he would vote for her. What a double standard there is when Bill Clinton,John Kerry Jesse Jackson and the likes of Liberal Democrats stand in pulpits often and "Bush Bash",and try to rally the liberal troops in everything against the Christian conservatives. And to think that these people are so nieve to not think that they too will lose there freedom of speech and religion under these liberals. I for one prefer to know where my minister stands on issues of our day that are important to me and my family. " If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything." Pastor Mac and others, Keep standing!
He CAN'T vote for her
Mac Hammond doesn't live in MN-06, where Michele Bachmann is a candidate.
He lives in Plymouth, which is in MN-03.
So tell me, when Mac Hammond spoke from the pulpit, saying: "We can't publicly endorse as a church and would not for any candidate... But I can tell you personally that I'm going to vote for Michele Bachmann", what exactly was he doing?
Was he planning to commit voter fraud by voting in a congressional district he doesn't live in?
Or was he lying to his parishoners, in a lame (and unsuccessful) attempt to get away with endorsing a political candidate during a church service?
Either way, it doesn't reflect well on him at all.

Your attention is on the wrong religion
Stop nit picking Christian churches in this country and start monitoring whats being said and supported in the Mosques in this country. I think then you would realize your wasting your time on the wrong religion.
