CREW SENDS FOIA REQUEST REGARDING MILITARY'S USE OF THE CHEMICAL PERCHLORATE

8 Jul 2008 // Perchlorate is a chemical found in propellant for rockets and missiles. Recent reports indicate that the chemical has contaminated the water supplies of at least 11 million people across the nation. CREW has filed FOIA requests with the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of the Army, Department of the Air Force, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Joint Staff regarding the policies and regulations that govern this chemical.
