6 Feb 2008 // Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) flied an amicus brief in this lawsuit, a challenge to the constitutionality of the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995. In this suit, the plaintiffs, The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), argue that the disclosure required by the Act violated the First Amendment. CREW’s brief opposes that position, arguing that the act does not violate the Constitution.
