CREW V. U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (USE OF EMAIL)

13 Sep 2007 // After newspapers reported that the White House had coordinated its PR response to the with US Attorney scandal with a Republican consultant, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the DOJ for any records relating to the consultant or his firm. When the DOJ denied CREW’s request for expedited processing and failed to produce any documents, CREW filed suit.
