CREW CALLS FOR DEPT. OF JUSTICE AND HOUSE ETHICS COMMITTEE INVESTIGATIONS INTO COLORADO REP. MARILYN MUSGRAVE'S OFFICES

29 Nov 2004 // Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) asked the Department of Justice Public Integrity Section to investigate whether Colorado Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave has violated federal law by running her re-election campaign out of her congressional district office.

CREW's request is based on press reports that the Congresswoman's campaign office and district office are located at the same address and that visitors to that address are unable to find the campaign office. Both offices are located at 5401 Stone Creek Circle in Loveland, Colorado. The district office is in suite 204 and the campaign office is allegedly in suite 777. The problem is that a floor plan of the two story building does not include a suite 777 and the front door of the campaign office is actually the district office's back door.
