1 Dec 2008 // ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Information secretly filed by federal prosecutors has angered Sen. Ted Stevens' defense team.

It's the latest twist in a fight over whether a trial witness told the truth or lied while on the stand.

After the guilty verdicts came in, the witness, David Anderson, wrote a letter to the judge saying he hadn't been truthful.

Prosecutors responded saying they would show Anderson was not lying during trial, but that he is lying now.

Stevens' attorneys say prosecutors did not follow court rules in sharing their information secretly, and only with the judge.

The defense team is demanding to know the details.

For now, the judge has asked prosecutors to explain why he shouldn't grant that request.
